Comma Splices and Run-on Sentences: Identification and Solutions
Variations in languages raise issues regarding how sentence complexity is increased, particularly in regards to the use of punctuation and conjunctions. Some languages are far more liberal in the use of the comma, while other languages rarely use it at all. After completing this module, students will have a greater awareness of the mechanics involved in joining independent clauses, by using correct conjunctions and punctuation.
