Introductory lesson for using 'be going to for future tense in English. Welcome back. In English we talk about the future with ‘Will’ and ‘going to’. To say the negative we use NOT. We can say “I’m Not going to watch TV tonight” or “I will not eat fish tonight. We can make questions by using IS and ARE and ‘Wh’ words. For example “Is he going to go shopping?” – “Are they going to cook a meal?” – or “When are you going to do your homework?” “What are you going to do this evening”? These are all useful questions to ask about the plans in the future.
